FIXED MEDICAL ALLOWANCE FOR NON-CGHS PENSIONERS ENHANCED

The Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare has enhanced the quantum of Fixed Medical Allowance granted to Central Government Pensioners who are residing outside the CGHS area from Rs.100/- to Rs.300/- with effect from 1.9.2008

AIR TRAVEL BY LTC TO NER EXTENDED FOR TWO MORE YEARS

This time the Government has extended the benefit of Air Travel under LTC to Government Employees to the North Eastern Region. The benefit is now extended for another Two years beyond 1st May 2010. The Orders issued by the DOPT on this matter can be downladed by clicking the Link Below:

District Level RPLI Mela - Rajkot 27.02.2010

District Level RPLI Mela was organized by SSPOs Rajkot and SPOs Gondal at Rajkot on 27.02.2010. The Event was inuagurated by Hon. Ms. Karuna Pillai ,Chief PMG,Gujarat Circle. Ms. Anjali Anand, PMG and Shri B. P. Sarangi, DPS Rajkot were present on the auspicious occation. Total RPLI business to the tune of Approx. amount of 30 Crs. and 164 e-Posts were procured. The presence of Hon. CPMG, PMG and DPS was catalyst for the motivation of the staff and the other officers to accelerate business on RPLI front.

Venue of the District level RPLI Mela at Rajkot on 27.02.2010. The event was inaugurated by Hon Ms. Karuna Pillai, Chief PMG, Gujarat by lightening the candels. Ms. Anjali Anand, PMG Rajkot welcomed Hon. Chief PMG, Gujarat on the event Hon. Ms. Karuna Pillai, Chief PMG, Gujarat addressed the event to motivate the staff and other officers and appealed to go ahead with the same spirit. A Gist by Shri K. P. Tiwari, ADPS (RPLI) on the achievement (Division wise & Region wise) of RPLI.

In the year 2008-09, the business was to the tune of Rs. 111.31 Crs. where as in the year 2009-10 up to 27.02.2010 the same was to the tune of 211.76 Crs. with the approx. 26500 policies. Huge croud during the event. Cultural programs were also organized on the event.Distribution of prize to good performers. Meantime Shri M. R. Gondalia, SPM Virpur procured highest RPLI business to the tune of 5.44 Crs. He was given opportunity to deliver methods and tips to participants.

RPLI Mela at Surendranagar

On initiation and direction of Hon. PMG Rajkot a RPLI Mela presided by Shri K. P. Tiwari, ADPS(Mails & RPLI), RO Rajkot was organized at Surendrangar on 29.01.2010. RPLI Business to the tune of Rs. 20.27 Crs. and 142 e-Posts were achieved. This is the second achievement of business through RPLI Mela after the event (RPLI Mega Mela) organized at Amreli on 15.01.2010 woth 34.55 Crs. which was presided over by Hon. PMG Rajkot herself.


RPLI Mega Mela was organised on 29.01.2010 at Surendranagar.

Rural Postal Life Insurance Mega Event 2010 - Amreli

Rural Postal Life Insurance Mega Event 2010 was held at Amreli on 15.01.2010 to promote the business of RPLI in Interior Areas. The event was inaugurated by Ms. Anjali Anand, Postmaster General, Rajkot. The staff of Amreli Division went the extra mile to set a mile stone. Cultural Programme was also held on the occasion.

Path breaking business of Rs. 34.50 Crores was captured during the event which was a tremendous achievement and the same is the feather in the cap of the Rajkot Region.
